Join us at the James J. Hill Center each month for new episodes from the classic old-time radio vault, complete with historical notes and trivia. The Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society stages the great horror and suspense shows from the golden age of radio, including tales from Suspense, Lights Out Everybody, The Witch’s Tale, The Shadow, and more. Each episode is performed live on stage with five actors playing multiple roles AND producing all of the sound effects.  New episodes every month!  See the March episodes listed below.

Hear from The Kings of Cole – a celebration of jive vocal and cocktail blues groups of the 30s and 40s’ – before and after the show. A great compliment to the radio vibe!

A crass American buys an English estate only to discover a sinister portrait hidden in the wall. The American and his family soon learn that the portrait was locked away for a very good reason…

We are pleased to announce the completion of our elevator renovation at the James J. Hill Center. This project was financed in part with funds provided by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society and the F. R. Bigelow Foundation. It will greatly increase our ability to serve patrons with accessibility needs.

Please access our ground floor elevator entrance via Kellogg Ave at the back of the building. Please ring the doorbell on the right hand side of door and a Hill staff member will assist you.
