Celebrate National Library Week at the Hill! This year, the theme is “libraries transform” – and we want to hear how the Hill has helped you or your business transform. Join us all week for FREE workshops, speakers, panels & special events.

Monday, April 10th:

Finding Funding, Finding Businesses
9am – 10am
RSVP Encouraged 
Join us for an overview of all the information that can be gathered from the PrivCo, GuideStar, and Foundation Directory databases. Attendees will learn how to use these three databases to research private companies and nonprofits and to build tailored lists of grants and private market investors.

1 Million Cups is a free, national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Hear from two local entrepreneurs as they present their businesses. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee.

Taking the Lead: Women Entrepreneurs of Color

Female entrepreneurs continue to have an incredible impact on the global and local economy. However, as the number of women entrepreneurs of color increase, the challenges still remain. Join us as we hear from a panel of local female entrepreneurs of color as they share their personal journey taking a passion to a viable business. Co-hosted with Central Certification Program and Sponsored by WBDC.

We are pleased to announce the completion of our elevator renovation at the James J. Hill Center. This project was financed in part with funds provided by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society and the F. R. Bigelow Foundation. It will greatly increase our ability to serve patrons with accessibility needs.

Please access our ground floor elevator entrance via Kellogg Ave at the back of the building. Please ring the doorbell on the right hand side of door and a Hill staff member will assist you.
